Emirates Stadium is home to Arsenal Football Club, one of the premier leagues biggest names. Emirates Stadium is roughly 50 minutes by public transport from Croydon Park Hotel. Simply walk to East Croydon Station and get the Southern towards London Victoria and get off in Victoria Station. From there take the Victoria towards Walthamstow Central to Highbury & Islington and change to the Great Northern train line (towards Hertford North) and get off at Drayton Park. Emirates Stadium is a three minute walk from the station.
The stadium has a capacity of over 60,000 people making it the 3rd largest stadium in London. It is home to Arsenal FC and would host premier league football games as well as Champion League games and UEFA cup games throughout the year. The club has one 12 FA Cups, 13 league titles and one UEFA Cup during it’s career and has seen many famous players throughout the years including; Denis BergKamp, Robin Van Persie, Ashley Cole and Paul Merson. Arsene Wenger has managed the club since 1996 and is the longest serving manager of the club with him bringing the team to two major titles during his reign.
If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket for an Arsenal home game in Emirates Stadium then make sure you soak up the great atmosphere enjoyed at the game.
