London Mozart Players

The London Mozart Players was founded in 1949 by Harry Blech and is Celebrating it's 70th year as the UK’s longest established chamber orchestra. The LMP is also in it's 30th year as the Croydon’s Fairfield Halls Resident Orchestra and is looking forward to bringing the world’s best music to this venue for the 2019/20 season and beyond.

The new season at Fairfield will be very exciting, with concerts featuring music from across the classical spectrum and top-flight guest soloists including BBC young musician Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Craig Ogden and Jess Gillam. Highlights for December at the Fairfield Halls include performances of 'The Snowman & The Nutcracker' and 'A Christmas Carol'.

LMP will continue its association with St John’s Upper Norwood, undertaking a full series of concerts at the Victorian church in addition to its Fairfield series. St John's Upper Norwood is only 15 mins drive from the hotel and 30 mins by public transport, while Fairfield Halls is only a 7 minute walk from the hotel.
